EGBE ATUNLUSE INITIATIVES CONCLUDES 2025 LOVE FEAST IN STYLE
Change never asks for permission; it demands brave souls who are ready to tear down walls and build bridges. We can only give credit to the league of heroes and agents of positive change know as Egbe Atunluse Initiatives for another impactful event that speaks volumes of their core values.
Atunluse Initiatives recently concluded its 2025 Love Feast, marking another milestone in its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)-driven mission.
The celebration began on April 25, 2025, with compassionate visits to two significant locations in Ondo State — the Children’s Home in Oba-Ile and the Ago-Ireti Leprosarium in Akure. During these visits, members of Atunluse Initiatives donated food items and essentials, coupled with words of hope, staying true to their founding principle of bringing hope to the helpless and uplifting the vulnerable.
The colourful zenith of the 2025 Love Feast was held at Alagbaka Extension, Akure, the residence of the chairman and the pioneer of the initiatives, Otunba Akin Akinbobola. The event recorded remarkable success, drawing dignitaries and members from across Ondo State and beyond.
Opening the floor, the Director-General of Atunluse Initiatives, Elder Sikiru Adetona, delivered an inspiring address highlighting the group's past engagements, notable achievements, and strategic plans for the future. He emphasized the group's dedication to sustaining and expanding its impact across communities. An address that set the tone for the subsequent remarks by key members of the group.
The guest speaker for the day, the Chief Imam of Akure Kingdom, Dr. Akeem Yayi Akorede, delivered a thought-provoking speech focusing on "Empowering the Less Privileged & Defining Government Influence in Building a Compassionate Soicety." His address underscored the necessity of inclusive governance and the empowerment of marginalized groups.
The keynote speech was given by the host, Otunba Akin Akinbobola, who passionately spoke on the pressing issues of insecurity, hunger, disunity, and nepotism. With a subtle yet powerful appeal, he challenged both leadership and the citizenry to play their parts actively in rebuilding Nigeria into a nation that truly works for all.
The event was a vibrant celebration marked by groovy & festive music, and elegant dance steps in an environment of unity and purpose. Guests, dressed in colorful attires, dined and wined together, reflecting the values of togetherness and shared vision that Atunluse Initiatives continually promotes.
The 2025 Love Feast stands as another testament to Atunluse Initiatives' relentless pursuit of a society — one filled with hope, compassion, and shared progress.
