Ex-ODSFA Boss Akinbobola Condoles with Family, 3SC Family & the entire Football Fraternity in Nigeria Over Olowookere’s DeATH

Former Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Otunba Akinshola Akinbobola, has expressed deep shock and sadness over the sudden demise of the Coach of Shooting Stars Sport Club (3SC), Akin Olowookere.


In a condolence message personally signed and made available to newsmen in Akure the Ondo state capital, Akinbobola described the late Coach Olowookere as a dedicated, workaholic, talented, and passionate football tactician whose impact on the beautiful game and on the lives of young men and women he touched will never be forgotten.


Olowookere, a former Sunshine Stars of Akure coach, was admired for his calm demeanor and sharp knowledge of the game. He reportedly passed away during a routine training session of the club on the morning of Monday, August 11, 2025.


“Coach Olowookere was not only a resourceful professional but also a humble gentleman, a team player, and a source of inspiration to many in the football family. His commitment to the growth of the sport and his love for nurturing young talents will remain a lasting legacy,” Akinbobola stated.


“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire football fraternity during this difficult time. May the Almighty God grant them the grace to bear this irreparable loss, and may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
